We understand that inviting a cleaning service into your home raises many questions, and we want you to feel completely comfortable and informed. Our Cleaning Service FAQ was created to provide you with clear answers about what to expect from your first clean to ongoing visits. Here, you’ll find details about our process, pricing, scheduling, and what makes our service different. If you don’t see your question answered, we’re always just a text or email away.
Why is the first time cleaning quoted as a range?
Cleaning is a very subjective service. Your definition of “clean” may not match ours, and that’s completely normal. Over the years, we’ve learned that every home is different, even if they’re similar in size. The range you receive is based on homes like yours, but the final time depends on the condition and how much detail is needed.

Why is the first clean more expensive? How is it different from regular visits?
The first clean is a deep reset and sets the stage for all future maintenance visits. While the task list is the same, the first clean usually takes much longer because it’s our first time in your home. Everything gets extra attention, like hand-wiping baseboards and cleaning areas that may not have been done in a while.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for the clean?
Not at all. That said, the tidier the space is, the more we can focus on the cleaning itself rather than picking up. We recommend putting away personal items, toys, or dishes if possible, but we understand that life gets busy.

Do I need to leave the house during the clean?
Not at all. We are very used to working around people, kids, and pets. We typically start and finish one floor at a time so we can easily shift around your schedule. You're welcome to stay home and we’ll work around each other.

How do I pay?
After each visit, we’ll send an invoice by email. Payment by e-transfer is preferred and should be sent within 24 hours. All instructions will be included on the invoice.

How long does the cleaning take?
First-time cleanings usually take 2 to 6 hours Recurring visits take around 1.5 to 3 hours This is with a team of 2 and will vary depending on your home’s size and condition.

Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
Yes, we bring all of our own cleaning products and professional tools. If you have any product preferences or sensitivities, just let us know in advance.

What happens if my scheduled clean falls on a holiday?
We’ll reach out ahead of time to find a day that works best to reschedule your visit.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or changes. This helps us adjust our schedule and fill your spot. We do have a cancellation policy in place. That said, we understand things happen. If you or someone in your household is sick, please let us know. We’ll always do our best to accommodate you and we appreciate the same in return.

What if I’m not happy with the clean?
Your satisfaction means everything to us. If something was missed or not quite right, please reach out within 24 hours and we’ll do our best to make it right.

Do you clean with pets in the home?
Yes, we love animals. If your pet is nervous or not fond of strangers, we kindly ask that you keep them in a separate area while we clean.

Do you respond on weekends?
We try our best to take downtime on the weekends. If you have a question, go ahead and ask. If you don’t hear back, we’ll reply Monday morning

I think your rates are expensive — why should I pay this much for cleaning?
Cleaning is a luxury service, and like most things in life, you get what you pay for. The industry is often crowded with uninsured individuals or hobby-style cleaners who may not operate professionally or consistently. While it might seem like anyone can clean, providing high-quality, reliable, and detail-focused service takes skill, training, and experience. We treat cleaning like the professional service it is. Our team is paid fair wages, we carry insurance, and we take pride in our work. From the care we show your home to the products we use and the trust you place in us, we’re committed to providing exceptional service every time.

Will it be the same team every time?
We try our best to send the same team to your home for each visit, as consistency is important. However, due to things like illness or scheduled time off, it's not always possible. That said, all of our teams are trained to the same standard and are just as thorough and professional
